Malaysia: SGI Asia Culture and Educational Centre, Johor Bahru
Soka Gakkai International is a community-based Buddhist organisation promoting peace, culture and education. The organisation has around 12 million practitioners in 192 countries and territories around the world. SGI Asia Culture and Educational Centre (ACEC) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is their biggest training centre in Asia, outside of Japan. The largest hall in the centre can accommodate up to 700 people, the 2 other smaller halls can hold about 250 people independently, a smaller seminar room holding up to 200 people and the smallest room holding 150 people.
Overview
Taken the recommendation from Soka Gakkai Headquarters in Japan, volunteer audio consultant of ACEC travelled to Japan for a meeting with TOA while the building was at it's designing stage. HX-7 was proposed and ACEC was impressed by the effort TOA had put in and the reassurance that support will be extended to them on the tuning of the system, ACEC decided to go with the TOA system.
